Mckenny was chosen as this week’s Star Athlete because of his sportsmanship and effort. Mckenny is the first one to help a teammate up from the court, whether they’re a Diné Warrior or someone from the opposing team. He has improved his hustle and skill in the game and his efforts have led to success on the court. He is considerate to other players and supports both the girls and boys teams during games and practices. He listens to the coaches and implements their feedback to improve his game.
