The city's Water Department will be fixing a possible water leak on parts of Boyd Avenue and Francis Street on Jan. 15. Water service will need to be turned off temporarily so they can do their work safely.
The outage will affect City of Gallup water customers in the following areas:
- 2200—2400 Block of Boyd Avenue (this include the public safety building, which will be closed for the day).
- 500 Block of Francis St.
The outage is expected to last from 9 am until 5 pm.
Surrounding areas may experience low water pressure.
