The 2024 General Election is on Nov. 5, 2024. There are some key local elections on the ballot, along with who will become the 47th President of the U.S.

KEY ELECTION DATES
Oct. 8: Early in-person absentee voting begins statewide. To file an in-person absentee ballot, visit the McKinley County Clerk’s Office. Online and mail-in voting will close on this day. However, anyone can still register to vote using same-day voter registration at any polling location.
Oct. 19: Expanded early voting begins in New Mexico.
Nov. 2: Early voting ends.
Nov. 5: Statewide primary election day. All absentee ballots must be in the hands of the county clerk by 7 pm. This is the last day for in-person voting as well.
