The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for the homicide of Lee Michael Pahe.

On July 26, 2021 at approximately 12:52 pm, Pahe was found deceased on the ground next to a water pump in Naschitti, N.M., on the Navajo Nation. The cause of death was a gunshot wound.

Authorities were told that Pahe, then 30, was last seen leaving a residence in Navajo, N.M., at 2 am on the day his body was discovered. Pahe was resident of Fort Defiance, Ariz.

A car was driving in the wrong direction on I-40 when it collided with a semi-truck, killing Falisha Leuppe, 43, of Coyote Canyon, Ariz.,  during the early morning hours of April 3.

McKinley County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Shane Bennett and his crew handled the crash scene, close to the 5-mile marker on eastbound I-40.

According to McKinley County Undersheriff James Maiorano III, Metro Dispatch received a call around midnight about a car going westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-40. A few seconds after that initial call, Metro Dispatch received another call where the caller said the car had crashed into a semi-truck.

Refuses field sobriety, breath tests

A Gallup police sergeant reportedly went for a short, but drunken ride on his motorcycle while off duty.

The story unfolded April 3, shortly after 1 am, when Gallup police requested assistance from New Mexico State Police.

NMSP Officer Alejandro Solis-Torres responded to the scene at the intersection of Ford Drive and Aztec Avenue. He immediately noticed Yazzie’s motorcycle on its side in the road.

After checking the motorcycle’s license plate, Solis-Torres saw that the registration was suspended.

On March 9, passers-by discovered the body of Vallo on U.S. Route 66, Highway 124, mile marker 20, in Laguna Pueblo, N.M.

Her injuries were consistent with a hit-and-run crash.  She may have been struck at approximately 7 pm on March 9.
