Details remain sketchy, regarding a homicide that occurred at the Allsup’s convenience store, 112 Arnold Street, about 11:18 pm on Jan. 9.

The victim, identified as 21-year-old Francisco L. Logan of Gallup, was shot and later died at the hospital, according to police.

Gallup Police Capt. Marinda Spencer said the shooting is being treated as a homicide. Police didn’t respond to questions on whether a store clerk was involved, and/or whether the shooting occurred inside the store.

Spencer said they have no suspects at this time.

Anyone who has any information on this case is asked to contact GPD detectives at (505) 863-9365 during business hours, or (505)722-2231 after business hours.

The red pickup truck and store surveillance photo circulating social media, is no longer needed, Spencer said.
